Revolutionäres Archiv. Crime Terror Riots

Revolutionäres Archiv. Crime Terror Riots by Jochem Hendricks is based on undercover film and photography recordings from the years 1973 through to 1985 showing political unrest, demonstrations, evictions, terrorist attacks, a bank robbery or the exchange of hostages. The material is taken from a police archive, but the photographic prints have been executed by Magdalena Kopp, a trained photographer who, at the time during which the recordings were made, was active as an international terrorist as a member of the Revolutionary Cells and wife of Carlos the Jackal. Observers and the observed meet again inadvertently, with their roles now reversed.
